That’s the name of the documentary on Netflix about Chris Norton.

I’ll try not to give too much away but if you haven’t watched it yet, you should.

There are so many things he talks about when he’s in the hospital and his recovery that I whole heartedly relate to.

He lost his ability to walk.

Me too. (x3)

He way annoyed by getting his vitals checked all the time.

Me too.

And also embarrassed the first time he got a sponge bath in bed by the nurses.

Oh wait, me too, once I realized what was going on.

He was given a 3% chance of ever walking again.

I was given a 3% chance to live.

He chose to fight.

Me fucking too.

As for the things I compare myself to in this documentary, that’s it for now so you get the chance to watch it for yourself…

But there are so many feelings and experiences he had that are sooo similar, yet so different.

I’m grateful to have watched his documentary and I wish him continued success in life.

Things he didn’t have to do…

1) be intubated and have your voice taken away multiple times

2) not have to feel what it’s like to not be allowed to have a single family member in there with you at your most vulnerable moments

Now those are things that I would NEVER wish on anyone but these things are so eye opening.

Again, if you haven’t seen this, give it a watch. And remember that each moment of every day is a gift.
