Mental health awareness day was yesterday and I’ve been thinking about it for quite some time now. My mental health that is.
Some days it’s good, some days I struggle but push through it, and some days I don’t want to get out of bed.
Don’t choose to be anyone but yourself. At the end of the day make sure you’re the one who is happy with who you are.
I feel like I really needed to lose my voice (multiple times) to find my actual voice.
As I sit here and trace the scar that lines my neck (because it’s smooth and it gets irritated easily) and sip my coffee after finishing my spin class, I can’t help but feel anything but pure joy this morning.
I would have NEVER chosen to talk about my feelings before all fo this. I didn’t believe mental health was a real issue. I thought you either get over something or you don’t. That’s not the stigma anymore. Talking about your own mental health, just might help someone else.
