Any Italians over here? We call it pizzagaina.

I’m making my first one today, from scratch.

My nana used to buy for of them every Easter at $100 a pie. Was she crazy!?!

I’m hoping I can learn how to make it so I can pass it down to my kids and they can pass it down to their kids someday as their mama’s favorite thing that she only got once a year from her nana.

My little nana, I think about you often. I find signs from you everyday. I hope you’re resting in paradise with the rest of your family and someday I’ll see you again ❤️

But for now, I’m keeping your tradition alive. Most of the family didn’t even like it but it was mine and dads favorite so you always bought it.

Here’s to starting my new tradition in baking one in honor of you ever year.
