The last time I worked... one full year ago. I never expected it. I thought I would have 2 weeks off to quarantine and then go back. Clearly I was wrong. I never anticipated any of this.

I miss my “kids.” That was one of the first questions I had when I “woke up.” I needed to make sure that my nanny kids were ok. How could I just abandon them? I was with them 5 days a week and then I was just gone. They become family to me. It’s so much more than just a job..

I really never could have known that the world going on “lockdown” would actually mean that I wasn’t going to do anything for two weeks..

March 13th, my sisters birthday and my last day of work

March 14th, Keith proposes to me

March 15th, my bosses and I make the decision to all stay home for 2 weeks to quarantine before moving foreword

I didn’t expect to get sick during this time. I thought it was aspiration pneumonia, just like it always was, but I was so wrong.

This was the day my world began to spiral into something I never could have imagined.

I'm not very tech savvy but! Did you just leave a cliff hanger?

It will always be a cliff hanger, that’s what keeps you coming back for more 😉
