One year down..

A lifetime to go.

One year since I was dropped off at the emergency room coughing up buckets of blood and soot, not being able to breathe, going into septic shock, having no clue what was going on...

I’m here. I’m alive. I’m accountable. I made it.

This storm, is not done, it has days where it kicks it’s feet and the wind is strong and it has days where it’s calm and the sun comes out.

Live for today, not tomorrow.

Oh, and eat the damn cake!
