This weekend

This weekend begins wedding festivities for my bridal shower!

But before I get into that there’s just something about your moms house...

Let me tell you, I think that was the best shower I’ve taken since the one I took when I got to rehab after 70 days in the hospital. Like it felt that good.

My sister is a hairdresser so there’s all these fun products, girl stuff, water pressure. All fabulous.

If you put your dirty clothes in with hers, she washes and folds them and leaves them on your bed.

You sneak your groceries into her order and it doesn’t cost you anything (oops sorry momma).

She didn’t have a coffee pot so I went out and bought her a keurig. YAY for coffee.

AND the best surprise of the weekend so far, my Ninni showed up. She flew in from Florida just for me. I thought she really couldn’t make it. I haven’t seen her since she came here last August. We talk everyday but it’s not the same. I was supposed to go camping with her for her birthday while she was here and I ended up having to spend her whole trip here in the hospital.

We’re off for a grandmother, mother, daughter(s) day! Pedicures up first!

House hopping my be a little fun. Someone remind me of this when I start flipping out about not having a house yet, but Keith and I are also looking at a few properties today so fingers crossed! To be continued..
