Wedding day!

As a follow up to 7 yards (my last blog post) I’d like to announce I FINALLY made those steps too!!

I am officially married to the love of my life.

After learning to walk 3 times last year, 3 rounds of ECMO, countless intubations, so many setbacks, I walked down that aisle!!!

I danced my ass off alllll night with some of the best by my side (including some of my nurses and pt’s from when my time was not so happy.)

I kept being told to sit, take a break, have some water, and you know what? I didn’t need a break. I was there to have fun with my husband and everyone who came to join our celebration. There was nothing that was going to stop me

I got to dance, and jump, and laugh, and rock out to Fight Song with my Tufts team and it was one of my favorite parts of my night.

We’re here. We all did it as a team. Me. My family. My husband. My in-laws. Our family. Our friends.

I can’t believe the day has already come and gone but I am so thankful to everyone that enjoyed the night with us and fought with us all of last year.

You bet your ass I didn’t come this far to only come this far. My future is bright. My future holds happiness. My future holds the unknown!

The beach is calling my name and I must go. It’s honeymoon time baby!
